I am Alvin Catalogo, a 2nd year Agriculture student at West Visayas State University – Calinog Campus, and every day I discover that agriculture is more than farming; it is a mission to sustain life. As the population continues to grow, the demand for food also increases. This reality shows how important agriculture is for the future of our communities and the world. Sustainable agriculture plays a vital role in ensuring that we can produce enough food while protecting our natural resources. By using environmentally friendly practices such as proper soil management, crop rotation, and responsible use of water and fertilizers, farmers can maintain the productivity of the land for future generations.
